The Casual Administration Assistant is a committed Christian who will assist with clerical and administrative support in order to facilitate the effective and efficient organisation of the day-to-day operations of the office.
This role will provide administrative support, including but not limited to, calendar management, internal and external mail functions, customer service via phone and in person, creation of letters & documentation, and possible events/ hospitality.
The person for this position must have strong interpersonal skills and a hardworking dedicated attitude who will demonstrate adaptability, resilience with an ability to manage work related pressures in a positive and enthusiastic manner. The person should also have a high level discretion, confidentiality, honesty and integrity.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Qualifications in business administration and / or equivalent experience in an office setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and public relations skills to enable professional interaction with a range of people including senior management, staff, students and community members.
- Well-developed keyboard and computer skills with a demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and some experience with graphic design programs.
- Highly developed time management skills, high level detail and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and to effectively manage multiple projects including the organisation of events and functions.
