We are seeking a temporary one year part time (0.2 FTE) Secondary Teacher (Science or Mathematics preferred) to join our Dynamic Learning Gosford team for 2025.
St Philip's Christian College Dynamic Learning offers a tailored learning program for children and young individuals diagnosed with Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, and/or Autism (Level 1 & 2). Our mission is to empower these students for lifelong success through evidence-informed methodologies that celebrate their unique strengths.

Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
The teacher will primarily be responsible for the development and improvement of the College in the areas of planning, innovating, preparing and delivering effective teaching and learning programs. This will be done in close collaboration with the school executive and strict compliance with Australian Professional Standards for Teachers, relevant syllabus, policy and procedures, while upholding the mission and values of the College that strongly align with biblical principles and sound doctrine.
Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:
Plan, create and distribute educational content, such as notes, summaries, assignments, and tests.
Foster a safe, supportive, engaging tidy and orderly learning environment that meets the needs and promotes the development of students in academic, spiritual, physical and emotional areas.
Engage parents, colleagues and the wider community in a way that create healthy, productive relationships with them.
Assess and report student progress, giving effective feedback to students, parents, the College and other stakeholders that leads to improvement, as required.
Initiate and participate in school related extra curricular activities/duties.
Initiate, participate in developing new and improved processes, methods and programs that are best practice and align with school policies and beliefs.
Maintain student records and samples of works.
Monitor and accurately report health and safety risks, incidents, injuries, and property damage at the workplace in a timely manner.

Has a current Working with Children Check.

This position requires a degree and applicable teaching qualifications and relevant experience.
Teaching qualifications must be provided, including University transcripts and NESA accreditation details.
